Define Who You
Want to Be

The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law is a bridge.

A bridge between those committed to justice and the communities that need them. Between a group of strong, dedicated men and women and the experts who can shape them into lawyers. Between a world that's ready for change and the ones who are going to change it.

Our students are more than just academic overachievers -- they're creative. Thoughtful. And they strive always for fairness and justice.

Whether our students use their law degrees to create new companies or access public benefits for low-income clients, the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law prepares students to practice law with excellence anywhere in the world.

Learning through Service

One of the most important aspects of Loyola’s Jesuit education is experiential learning. Our students begin representing real clients long before they graduate.

Law Clinic

In the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, third-year law students practice under the supervision of experienced clinic faculty.

Environmental Law & Policy Lab

The Policy Lab allows students to work on environmental advocacy projects for non-profit or community clients.

Loyola’s entrepreneurship course allows students to gain hands-on experience working with local startup ventures.

Through our unique Skills curriculum, every Loyola law student receives training in four key competency areas.

Paid Summer Internships

Since 1991, the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center has funded more than 900 public interest internships across the United States.

The Advocacy Center

The Advocacy Center consists of five diverse experiential programs that prepare students for all aspects of law practice.

Continuing Legal Education

Loyola’s CLE offers a wide range of post-graduate educational opportunities to further your knowledge in a number of subjects

Career Development Office
